NHS Flu Vaccination — Who’s Eligible?

Priority NHS Groups

You can receive a free NHS flu vaccine on the NHS if you are:

Pregnant at any stage
Adults aged 65 or over (including those turning 65 by 31 March 2026)
Adults aged 18-64 with certain health conditions
Residents in care homes
Carers (main carer for older/disabled person or receiving carer’s allowance)
Household contacts of immunocompromised individuals

Long-term health conditions include asthma requiring steroid inhalers/tablets, heart disease, diabetes, chronic kidney or liver disease, neurological conditions, weakened immune systems and others — speak to us if you’re unsure.

Private Flu Vaccination

If you are not eligible for a free NHS flu jab, you can still have a flu vaccination privately at our pharmacy. This service is available to adults and children depending on clinical suitability, and appointments can be booked at a time that suits you.
